Saga Mode: A full in game day (Day + Night) lasts 10 minutes. The game will remove AFK players after 3 in game days. The game will scale to how many players are currently online. Tribes is based off procedural generation, meaning each time you make a new World, the area surrounding your Village will be different. Why is the map different every time I make a World? In Saga Mode, the game ends when the central tree in your Village, Yggdrasil, runs out of Souls and dies. Tribes can support up to 10 players in one Village. Survival Mode: Select the "browse" option in the Survival tab when creating a World and search for your friends' World - these can also be created private and password-protected. Alternatively, you can search in Matchmaking to be paired with random players. ![]() Saga Mode: Use the invite button to create a lobby, but keep in mind that new players CANNOT join after the game is launched. Use the magical Allforge to craft Stations and Constructions to create your perfect Viking home and write your own legend by choosing among 90 skills! Survival: a more relaxed mode where you build your own story and take the fight to the enemy. Fortify your Village and specialize in one of the 8 unique Classes before time runs out! Explore by day, defend by night and loot 24/7. ![]() Saga Mode: a session-based mode where you delay the forces of Ragnarök before the endless winter takes hold. What's the difference between the two Modes? In Survival Mode, your goal is to explore, build your settlement, and take down various Ancients across the World. In order to complete a run, exit via the Bifröst! In Saga Mode, you must defend your Village from the impending Giants who threaten to destroy it, as well as complete Saga Quests to take down Ancients, all before it reaches Day 15, the Fimbulwinter (endless winter).
